| By this Bond, I Soh En Soh, holder of
NRIC NO/Passport No: 23456789 residing at 21 Shentown Way, Singapore
010101 acknowledge myself bound to the Government of the Republic
of Singapore in the sum of $5,000.00 to be paid to the Government.
Sealed with my seal this nth day of January, 2000.
Whereas application under the Immigration Regulations, has
been made for the grant of a Visit Pass for the person whose
particulars appear in the Schedule hereto:
And whereas Visit Pass has been granted to her on the following conditions
to be observed by her namely:
- That she shall comply with the provisions of the Immigration Act
and any regulations made thereunder;
- That she shall not get married to a Singapore citizen or a permanent
resident during her stay in Singapore;
- That she shall not become pregnant during her stay in Singapore;
- That she shall submit herself to a medical examination once every
6 months or at such intervals as may be required;
- That she shall not engage in any form of employment, paid or unpaid,
or in any business, profession or occupation other than that of a
domestic worker in my employ;
- That she shall not engage in any activity detrimental to the security
and well-being of Singapore;
- That she shall ot engage in, or be concerned in any way, with any
activity in contravention of the Misuse of Drugs Act (Chapter 185);
- That upon completion or termination of employment or resignation
from employment, or the cancellation of her Work Permit, she shall
report in person to the Controller of Immigration within seven days
of such completion or termination of employment or resignation from
employment or cancellation of the Work Permit for the purpose of cancelling
the Visit Pass; and
- That where her Work Permit is cancelled by the Controller of Work
Permits and her Visi Pass is cancelled by the Controller of Immigration,
she shall not remain in Singapore thereafter unless she is otherwise
entitled or authorised to remain in Singapore;
And on the following conditions to be observed by me, namely:-
- That she will be employed by me in the capacity as a domestic worker;
- That during her stay in Singapore, I shall be responsible for her
upkeep and maintenance and for the cost of her eventual repatriation,
and if she should die while in Singapore, for the cost of burial or
cremation or the return of the body to the country of nationality;
- That upon completion or termination of employment or resignation
from employment, or the cancellation of her Work Permit, I shall inform
the Controller of Immigration in writing within seven days of such
completion or termination or resignation from employment or cancellation
of the Work Permit for the purpose of cancelling the Visit Pass, and
I shall forthwith or within such period that may be specified by the
Controller of Immgigration repatriate her; and
- That I shall produce her to the Controller of Immigration on the
Cancellation or expiry of the Visit Pass or at such other times as
I may be required by the Controller to do so.
Now the above-written obligation is conditioned to be void in case
the said person and I shall henceforth at all times perform and observe
the above conditions on her part and on my part respectively to be performed
and observed.
But in the event the said person breaching any of the conditions to
be observed by her and myself failing to repatriate her, or in the event
of myself breaching any of the the further conditions to be observed
by me, then this obligation shall be in full force and effect to the
extent of the same herein before stated.
As seucrity for the due payment of this Bond, I hereby deposit the
sum of dollars FIVE THOUSAND ONLY ($5,000.00) which sum shall
be returned to me on this Bond becoming void. Signed, sealed, etc.,
