According to Work Permit Office regulations, a work permit holder may work only
for the employer named in the work permit and a person may only employ a foreign
worker with a valid work permit, i.e., a work permit with name of the employer
on it.
Before a work permit is issued to FDW, she has to acknowledge certain
conditions, among them:
"2. [that she] shall only work for the employer ... named in the work
permit..."
"3. [that she] shall not work for any other person, in any capacity, with or
without monetary payments."
See work permit conditions.
